“Let children walk with Nature, let them see the beautiful blendings and communions of death and life, their joyous inseparable unity, as taught in woods and meadows, plains and mountains and streams of our blessed star, and they will learn that death is stingless indeed, and as beautiful as life.”
― John Muir

JSC's name tag from the day of Finn's birth. This is what elation + panic looks like on the most handsome face to ever walk God's green earth.

I started writing Finn letters in a journal when I was just a couple of months pregnant -- when I had no idea who Finn was or what I was getting myself into. I am not always the best at following through, but I'm trying so, so hard to keep up with this thing. I can't wait to give it to him when he is older.

Beautiful journal by Rifle Paper Co. (duh)
