A few weeks ago my parents flew out to visit and hang with me while JSC was suffering through finals week. It was great to have them around and FFC just ate up all of that extra attention and love. We took a whirlwind trip to Asheville, where we ate lots and lots of delicious food (ummm, Tupelo Honey Cafe's biscuits were life changing, Salsa's scratched an itch I've had since moving to the South, and HomeGrown was yuuuuuuuuuuum!!!!!), but mostly relaxed at our hotel, let Finnegan set the pace, and watch a ton of movies. I had been dying to just sit around doing nothing for weeks, and my sweet parents were awesome enough to allow me to indulge in that dream even though they were on vacation. First trip to Asheville was a success and I cannot wait to bring JSC and show him around.
